Waiver
All guests are required to sign a digital waiver prior to the expedition, which can be accessed here. Parents or guardians will need to sign on behalf of minors.
Meeting Location & Parking
Your expedition will depart and return from Sambro (20 Basinview Rd, Sambro, NS B3V 1L4). Our boat, “Apex Explorer,” is kept at the Wharf. There is plenty of free parking available. Depending on traffic, Sambro is about 40 minutes from downtown Halifax.
Meeting time
Arrive at the wharf 10 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

Visiting from out of town & need accommodation?
There are no hotels in Sambro; we have a partnership with the Four Points by Sheraton in Halifax that offers exclusive discounts to our guests on their accommodation using this link.
The Four Points hotel is about 40 minutes away from our expedition meeting spot in Sambro, so we have also partnered with local ride share transportation services that will offer exclusive discounts to our guests. Details will be available soon.

Weather Cancellation Policy & Trip Insurance Advantage
Expedition trips are weather-dependent. In the event we must cancel a trip due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, guests will have the option to (1) reschedule their trip to a future date (subject to availability), (2) receive a credit or gift card for the full value of the trip, redeemable towards a future expedition.
We strongly recommend that guests unable to reschedule should obtain trip interruption or cancellation insurance through our trusted partner, TUGO that will refund the cost of the expedition and any related travel costs in the event of a cancelled expedition.
